Why I built CVpass

One thing always frustrated me in the job search: the silence. You apply, you wait, nothing happens. You try again. Still nothing.

For a long time, I thought that was normal. That recruiters were just overwhelmed. And it's true, they are. But what I didn't know was that a piece of software was rejecting my resume before a human ever saw it.

That software is called an ATS. Almost every company with more than 50 employees uses one. The idea is simple: the bot scans your resume, looks for keywords, and if your resume doesn't match, it's pushed to the bottom of the pile. Or deleted outright.

I looked for tools to check whether my resume passed these filters. I found some. They gave a score and a list of problems. And then? Nothing. Figure it out yourself.

That's when I had the idea for CVpass. A tool that doesn't just point out the problems, but fixes them.

In practice: you upload your resume, the AI identifies what's blocking it and proposes a rewrite for each weak point. You click Accept if you like it, Skip if not. The score rises in real time. You download the fixed PDF.

No magic. No promise to "land a job in 24 hours". Just a resume that will be read by a human instead of being filtered out by a bot.
