JobStep is published in Switzerland, calibrated for the Swiss market. CVpass also works very well in French-speaking Switzerland / Belgium / Luxembourg (same resume standards). For Belgium in particular, CVpass is better because it knows HelloWork and JobAt.
Strengths : the only FR scanner with a full career suite (resume + letter + LinkedIn + interview coach + tracker + salary simulator). GDPR-native (published by VertexLab SASU, France), resume file never kept. Built for the ATS used in France (Workday, Taleo, SmartRecruiters, MeteoJob, HelloWork). French AI that rewrites each detected issue, not just a score.
Weaknesses : less established than Jobscan (launched in 2026). Smaller template library than EnhanCV.
Strengths : historic US leader since 2013, the most complete ATS database on the market. Direct integrations with some US ATS. Power Edit to compare several resume versions. Very good for international applications in English.
Weaknesses : 100% in English (no French version planned). Calibrated for US standards (1 page max, no photo, MM/DD/YYYY format). Expensive: 5x more than CVpass for similar features on the French market. Resumes stored on US servers (CLOUD Act).
Strengths : best LinkedIn analysis on the market (profile + headline + summary + skills). Detailed Resume Score. "Ex-Google/Amazon recruiters" model used in marketing.
Weaknesses : 100% English, no France calibration, no downloadable templates, no interview coach. Career suite limited to resume + LinkedIn.
