Our B2B mission

Giving French schools, CFAs (work-study training centers) and firms an ATS tool that is serious and fit for purpose

The CV optimisation market is flooded with US tools, in English, tuned to American ATS, with no DPA and no EU hosting. CVpass exists to fill that gap in the French market, with the standards that DPOs and operations leaders expect.

Where it started

In France, the vast majority of CVs received by large companies go through an ATS (applicant tracking system) before a human ever looks at them. These recruiting bots filter on technical criteria: structure, keywords, readability, format. Yet most candidates, students and people receiving HR support services don't know this filter exists.

Career services and employer relations teams at schools and CFAs face a concrete problem: one advisor for 200 students or clients is not sustainable. They need a tool that gives automatic feedback on the CV, helps prioritise the cases that need human attention, and produces numbers they can report to leadership or to the corporate client.

US tools (Jobscan, Resume Worded, Teal) don't meet this need: individual pricing, English only, US hosting, no DPA, no organisation dashboard. For a school, a CFA or a consulting firm, the requirements just don't fit.

CVpass was built to fill that gap: an ATS tool in French, hosted in the EU, with an Article 28 DPA, an admin dashboard, organisation branding and an annual plan. Tuned to the ATS your candidates actually face in France.

Four guiding principles

Principle 01

A serious tool, not a hype machine

We are not a ChatGPT wrapper. We tune our prompts to French ATS, we source our benchmarks and we document our methodology. Your decisions should rest on verifiable data, not on marketing promises.

Principle 02

GDPR by design, not patched on

EU hosting, the DPA, anonymisation after 6 months and AI that never trains on your data are not marketing features: they are architectural constraints we set from day one. To sell to a public school, they are non-negotiable.

Principle 03

Simple pricing, aligned with value

Public prices, shown on the website before the first conversation, and a free test on your own CVs before you commit.

Principle 04

No lock-in

Your data stays yours. CSV export at any time, full deletion within 30 days of cancellation. We put up no commercial friction if you leave. We keep customers through the value we deliver, not through exit barriers.

How we got here

    First prototypes

Initial development for the consumer market: free ATS scanner, detailed scoring, AI rewriting. Product-market fit validated on over 6,000 CV analyses.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about our positioning

The questions prospects ask us during demos before they sign.

Why create CVpass when English-language tools already exist?

English-language tools (Jobscan, Resume Worded, Teal) are tuned to American ATS, with an English interface, hosted in the United States, with no native GDPR DPA and no per-seat pricing for organisations. None of them meets the constraints of a French public school or a large French company. CVpass exists to fill that gap, specific to the French market.

Who publishes CVpass? A real French company?

CVpass is published by VertexLab SASU, a French company based in Allauch (Bouches-du-Rhône, 13190). SIRET number and legal representative are available on the legal notice page. No American holding company, no resale of data, support and billing in France.

How is this different from building it in-house (IT team)?

An in-house build means 6 to 12 months, a budget of €80k to €200k for a less capable v1, and permanent maintenance (changing ATS models, Stripe versions, GDPR, security). CVpass gives you the same level from day one, starting at €1,490 per year, and keeps your IT team focused on core business topics.

Can we test before committing?

Yes. Send us 3 to 5 CVs from students who are still looking for their company: within 48 business hours you receive, free of charge, what was getting them rejected and the corrected version. No commitment.
